Salem senior Mike Dunkley struck with a goal 9:30 into overtime to give No. 6 Salem a 1-0 win over No. 11 Nashua North. The Blue Devils take on Timberlane on Sunday at 2 p.m.

In a battle for a better playoff spot, Salem nipped Bishop Guertin 2-1 when Mike Dunkley tipped in a ball for the game-winner on a beautiful pass from Todd Righini.

Senior captain Andrew Zani play in Salem's net kept the Blue Devils in the game, but a Manchester Central goal 15 minutes into the second half stood up in a 1-0 decision. "Andrew's back in form and playing quite well," said head coach Tony Karibian.

Salem's boys soccer team held unbeaten Londonderry until late uin the second half when Nate Gaw drilled in a shot to give the Lancers a 1-0 victory. Andrew Zani made 13 saves to keep Salem (1-8) within striking distance.
