Yeo's two goals help Peabody outlast Revere

Defenseman and senior captain Pat Yeo scored twice (once while shorthanded) while junior center Elijah Cohen had two goals and an assist as Peabody knocked off host Revere Saturday, 5-2.

The Tanners, who improved to 14-5 overall, got a goal and an assist from sophomore Matt Rodgers in the win.

Four-goal second period by Revere sinks Gloucester

High school hockey games have 45 minutes in regulation. But 4 minutes and 18 seconds made all the difference on Saturday night.

Visiting Revere (8-6-2) stunned Gloucester (10-4-2, 9-2-2) with three straight goals in that time span, turning a 2-1 Gloucester lead into a 4-2 Patriots advantage. Revere went on to defeat Gloucester, 5-3, in the Northeastern Conference battle.

Third-period rally sends Marblehead icemen past Revere

It all came together for the Marblehead High hockey team over the final 20 minutes of last night's contest with Saugus. A team that has struggled to maintain consistency for much of the season, the Headers put together one of their best stretches of hockey this winter, rallying from a two-goal deficit to score three straight and capture a big 3-2 victory at Revere.

Despite plenty of chances, Fishermen settle for tie

The Gloucester boys hockey team couldn't have asked for a better scenario in its season-opener last night in Revere. The Fishermen stormed out of the gate and built an early lead against the Patriots. They were also able to sustain offensive aggressiveness throughout the game by putting 42 shots on the Revere net, as opposed to the mere 17 shots on goal by the home team.
