Jamal Babiker won a faceoff, swung the ball to Steven McGuire who passed it to a cutting Tyler Tannian for a goal 1:45 into overtime to give Whittier an 8-7 victory over Northeast.

Freshman Patrick Rodden made a stunning 26 saves as Whittier downed Lynn Tech 7-2.

Mike Nicholas pressured the goalie, picked off an outlet pass the dropped it into the open net for a goal 5:14 into overtime to give Whittier a 6-5 victory over Asabet Valley. It was Nicholas' fourth goal of the day.

Freshman goalie Patrick Rodden saved 21 of 22 shots to lead Whittier boys lacrosse 5-1 over Greater Lowell.

Midfielder Steven Maguire (five assists) kickstarted the offense and junior attack Mike Nicholas (five goals) cashed in as Whittier edged Greater Lowell in lacrosse, 8-6. Freshman Patrick Rodden stopped 19 shots in the victory.

Goalie Patrick Rodman kept Whittier in contention with several strong saves, but the Wildcats eventually fell to Minuteman, 8-5 in lacrosse action.
