Bruno bounces back

After missing eight games due to injury, Andover's Andrew Bruno has made an impact returning to Brooks' lineup, driving a walk-off two-run single in the 10th inning for a topsy-turvy 11-10 victory over Middlesex. With four RBIs, Bruno joined Phil Doyle (two-run triple in sixth) and James Williams (started rallies with three singles) as offensive heroes for Brooks.

Nick Potter made three tremendous plays in the field but Brooks was unable to mount a consistent offense against Dexter. Cam Johst and Max Romanow each had second-inning singles for the only two hits.

Dolben, Brooks hold off St. Paul

Matt Dolben singled home a pair of runs in the top of the seventh, and Brooks was able to squash a six-run rally in the bottom of the inning, downing St. Paul's 7-6. Max Romanow added a two-run double in the fourth and Justin Freeman doubled home a run in the sixth.
