Knights emerge unbeaten

Winning the final relay by just shy of two seconds kept North Andover unbeaten and dealt Hamilton-Wenham its first loss, 73-71. Samantha Baron broke a 15-year-old school record in the javelin (115-11), Julie Mehlman won two events for the Knights, and Eleni Coufos, Julia Varoutsos, Jenna Smolag and Mary Lavery combined for the exciting 4x400 victory.

Julia Mehlman was a triple winner and Katie McManus broke her own school record in the shot put as North Andover blitzed Amesbury. Alexandra Layne had a big day in the throws. Danielle Poto won the 2-mile in a personal best time.

Two records fall

North Andover had several highlights in track despite losing a 95-50 verdict to Andover. Katie McManus broke a 19-year-old North Andover school record with a 34-3 in the shot put, and Julia Mehlman, who won three events, broke her own record in the 200 (25.60).
