Londonderry 9, Pinkerton 1

Ryan Moloney was at his best with runners on, allowing only one run on eight hits over six innings to lift Londonderry over rival Pinkerton, 9-1. Dan Kinnon and Rob Del Signore had a pair of hits each for the winners. Brandon Paquin paced the Astros with three hits.

Viehoff sets 'em down

Tim Viehoff struck out 10 over 5 1/3 innings, scattering five hits to help Pinkerton top Keene 10-4. Freshman Tom Diskin finished 3 for 3 with two RBIs and Branden Rodgers had two hits and scored twice.

Pinkerton comeback tops Alvirne

Andrew Curran's sacrifice fly in the bottom of the seventh capped off a four-run seventh and gave Pinkerton a thrilling 8-7 win over Alvirne.  Drew Sutherland went 3 for 5 with a home run. Brandon Rodgers had a triple. Andrew Hurlihy came in for relief andallowed just one hit.

Two stoppers

Pinkerton bounced back from a 6-3 deficit to take a seventh-inning lead, then rode the strong relief pitching of Brandon Paquin and Nick Pica to a 7-6 victory over Manchester Memorial. Tom Diskin (three singles, 2 runs and 1 RBI) and Kruz Komaridis (three singles and an RBI) drove the offense for the Astros.

Peters does it all

Trailing by five runs heading into the sixth inning, Dan Peters' two-run single sparked a six-run outburtst for Salem, as the Blue Devils downed archrival Pinkerton 8-6. Mike Downing added two RBIs, including a key sacrifice fly in the sixth, while Peters also came on to slam the door with a scoreless seventh to pick up the save.

Let's get small

After seeing Pinkerton pitcher Curtis Lonergan repel bases-loaded threats over the first three innings, Timberlane went small-ball. Pressuring the Astros into errors using a sacrifice bunt and two suicide squeezes, the Owls scored four times in the fifth inning, finishing with a 4-0 victory. Sophomore Jake Damphousse battled for the complete-game victory, striking out eight and allowing three hits.
