Justin Moran pitches Pelham to victory

Justin Moran allowed only two hits and three baserunners while facing 23 batters in earning his first victory of the season. The Python defense aided his cause with a double play while Evan Sage had a two-run triple and Jake Vaiknoras doubled.

David Bronson stroked a leadoff double and pitched five strong innings with six strikeouts to lead Pelham (1-5) to its first win, 11-3 over ConVal. Centerfielder Ryan Frank led the defense. It was the first win for rookie coach Billy Beauchesne.

12-run inning

 

Trailing 6-4 in the bottom of the third, Windham scored 12 runs in the bottom of the third  including eight before an out was made  on its way to a 19-10 victory over Pelham. Steven Dastous and Mike DiOrio led the way for Pelham. Both had a double and triple and they combined for 11 RBIs.
