Matt Fenton scored a pair of goals as Central Catholic played Andover to a 2-2 tie.

 Bruce Butterworth of Seabrook, N.H., was the overall winner at the BrickMan Triathlon in Lawrence, finishing with a time of 52:58. Cindy Regnante of Andover was the top female finisher, in 58:31.

Junior Drew Johnson scored all three goals, including the game-winner midway through the second half, as Andover knocked off Billerica, 3-2, in a key Merrimack Valley Conference boys soccer collision. An Huyhn (two assists) and Demetri Kostakis dominated in the midfield for the winners.

The Andover and North Andover boys soccer teams couldn't have been more even yesterday. They wound up in a 1-1 tie after a scoreless first half and both goalies made nine saves. Eric Riedel scored for North Andover and then Alex Wagner responded for Andover.  An Huyhn played well for the Warriors while defenders Dan Connelly and Zach Karalis and Tyler McEachern stood out for the Knights.

 Josh Chevalier (9 saves) notched the shutout and An Huynh, Alex Wagner and A.J. Vernaglia scored as Andover tripped Haverhill, 3-0.
