Timberlane broke a five-game scoreless streak with a two-goal first half, but Concord stormed back with a commanding second half to take home a 5-2 victory. Matt Plante and Jeff Edgecomb found the mark for the Owls.

Tyler Donahue scored on an assist from Jordan Bowman in the second overtime to lift the Salem boys to a 1-0 win over Timberlane. Andrew Zani had four saves for the Blue Devils while Tom Sullivan stopped eight shots for the Owls.

Freshman Tyler Donovan's first career goal couldn't have come at a better time, proving to be the game-winner in Timberlane's 2-1 win over Nashua North. Gunnar Ericsson scored the first Owls goal and assisted on the second.

Keeper Tom Sullivan had a long assist and stopped nine shots to help lead Timberlane soccer to a4-0 victory over Alvirne.

Meanwhile, Gunnar Ericsson netted three goals and added one assist for the Owls (2-3). 

PLAISTOW – The Pinkerton boys soccer team remained undefeated through the season’s first week, but the defending state champion Astros didn’t have it easy yesterday against an opponent they’ve dominated in recent years.

Out of necessity, sophomore Conor  Hastings played out of position.  The sophomore, who was making his first varsity appearance, scored the final goal which sealed Timberlane's 4-1 win over Spaulding.
