No quit in these Warriors

Going from a three-run deficit to a lead and back to a deficit in the sixth inning, Andover had the last laugh via a three-run seventh-inning eruption that led to an 11-9 upset of Tewksbury. Shannon Tully ripped a three-run triple in the sixth followed by Taylor Farris' successful suicide squeeze bunt. Leadoff hitter Molly Awiszus (two hits, RBI) sparked the seventh inning uprising and pitcher Caroline Kiezulas stranded two Tewksbury runners with a game-ending strikeout to wrap up the win.

Breaking out

 

Central Catholic's softball team enjoyed its best game at the plate all year, banging out 17 hits in a 12-2 victory over Tewksbury. Brianna Martin was 3 for 5 with three runs scored and two RBIs for the Raiders (9-2) and Alex Borrelli had a home run.

Meg Donegan looked every bit the returning Eagle-Tribue All-Star, smashing a two-run homer, striking out 11 and allowing just three hits as Central Catholic pounded Tewksbury 8-0.
