LAWRENCE – One of the best pitching matchups Eastern Mass. can muster takes place tonight, here at Mark Devlin Field in the finals of the 30th annual Lawrence Invitational Tournament.

Brandon Walsh smashed his eighth home run of the season. Alec Jillson also homered as North Andover baseball won 4-1 over Masconomet to finish its CAL schedule undefeated. 

North Andover baseball won its 13th straight with a 10-0 victory over Wilmington. Mike Weisman hurled six innings, giving up just one run and striking out 11 batters.

Mike Weisman had three hits and Rick O'Connor homered to highlight North Andover's 17-hit attack during a 16-0 victory over Hamilton-Wenham.

The Knights, 12-1 and winners of 12-straight, scored six times in the second and seven more in the third. Cam Couillard, Alec Jillson, Brandon Walsh and Dom Nicolosi each had two hits. Walsh worked five innings on the mound, striking out 10 and allowing just one hit. Mike Borzi and Couillard finished the game with an inning each in relief.

Mike Weisman hurled six innings without allowing run to lead North Andover baseball to a 6-0 victory over Newburyport. The only hit he gave up came in the fifth inning when he left up a changeup. 

Tyler Leavitt improved to 4-0 as the North Andover junior fired six innings of three-hit ball with 10 strikeouts and no walks in a 10-2 win over Ipswich. Mike Weisman, Leavitt, Brandon Walsh and Jason Keshian drove in two runs each.
