Melanie Dusseault dazzled Bishop Guertin for nine shutout innings, and she and her Pinkerton Academy mates finally broke through in the ninth for three runs in the 3-0 Astros win. Adrienne Weishaar opened the Pinkerton ninth by reaching second on an error and came around on Sam Hennequin's base hit to break the tie. Hennequin and Dusseault later came around for insurance on Cardinal errors.

Melanie Dusseault was superb in relief and Adrienne Weishaar had the winning hit in the bottom of the eighth as Pinkerton rallied from a 4-0 deficit in the first inning for a 5-4 victory.

One day after suffering a heartbreaking 1-0 loss at Concord, Londonderry's softball team took out its frustration with a 13-0 rout of archrival Pinkerton. Rachel Kraytenberg had a grad-slam homer in the first, Sam Nitso belted a two-run shot and Lindsey Bolduc was 4 for 4 and scored three runs. 

Pinkerton freshman Rachel Byrd was 3 for 4 with four RBIs, giving her 11 RBIs in the last three games, as the Sachems nipped Winnacunnet 6-4 in nine innings. She also had a double for the game-winning run in the ninth.

Rachel Byrd hit a grand slam in the bottom of the sixth to highlight a six-run inning as Pinkerton clipped Keene 8-1. Also, pinch-hitter Molly Harrington had a two-run single in the frame and winning pitcher Sam Hennequin had one of her two hits.

Rachel Byrd slugged a three-run homer and drove in four runs overall, Kasey Marraffa was 4 for 5 and Melanie Dusseault threw a one-hitter as Pinkerton blanked Dover 8-0.

Pinkerton's softball team, trailing 3-0 in the first, rallied to tie the game and then finally clipped Memorial 5-4 in 10 innings. Katelyn Erhardt had the game-winning hit in the 10th and Melanie Dusseault went the distance for the win. Kasey Marraffa returned after missing two games with a hamstring injury and went 2 for 5 while Britney Bernard had three hits.

Salem's softball team recorded its third straight shutout to open the season, 9-0 over Pinkerton, and has now outscored its opponents 23-0. Nicole Gubellini allowed one hit over six innings, striking out nine, and now has two wins and a save, and she also had a pair of hits and an RBI. Sophomore Sam Cloutier had her second 2 for 4 day with two RBIs of the season and Amanda Baron had two doubles and an RBI.

With two outs in the eighth, Adrienne Weishaar had an RBI hit over the left fielder's head to lift Pinkerton  over Merrimack 6-5. Katelyn Erhardt was 3 for 3 and had a pair of RBIs for the Astros (2-0).
