Pinkerton rules, Desrosiers dazzles

The Pinkerton boys and girls teams swept the 15-team Merrimack Invitational. The Smith twins were immense with Emmitt Smith winning the 100, taking second in the 200 and helping the Astros take third in the 4x100. Abbey Smith may have been even more impressive with a second in the 100, a second in the high hurdles and a leg on the winning 4x100. Teammate Margaret Barrie also piled up big points in the sprints.

Londonderry boys finish second at Nashua meet

Clint Perry finished first in the 300 hurdles to help Londonderry to a second place finish at the Nashua North Invitational. The Lancers finished with 60 points and Concord finished first with 75 points. Matt Dionne finished first in the high jump in at 6-2 and Timberlane finished eighth with 23 points. Salem finished tied for 11th. Max Jacques won the long jump with a leap of 21-3.5.
