Two goals from Rachel Konaxis helped the Panthers erase a 2-0 halftime deficit and force overtime, but Westford got the deciding goal in extra time to advance in MIAA Division 1 North action. Hayley Govoni also scored for Beverly while Meg Finn turned in a strong effort.

Gloucester dedicates win over Beverly to Ziergiebel

The Fishermen played inspired, dedicating the win to Jane Ziergiebel, who passed away early last Saturday morning after a car crash. Ziergiebel had been a voluntary coach with the team. Kat LaCroix had a goal and an assist, while Jill Lukegord, Emily Castro and Alli Kippen also added goals for Gloucester (10-5-1). Alicia Unis picked up the shutout in net.

Finn's two goals, Williams' three assists lead Beverly past Revere

Junior Meg Finn had a pair of goals while senior captain Kate Williams dished out three assists as Beverly kncked off Revere, 3-0.

The Panthers improved to 5-4-1 with the win.

Goalie Jen McKenna stopped six shots for the shutout win, while Courtney Brennan also scored.

Peabody emerges with 3 -2 win over Beverly

Peabody rode the goaltending of Rebecca Mullen to a 3-2 win over Beverly, giving the Tanners (1-0) their first win of the season. Mullen's 17 saves and outstanding defense from Samantha Sarkisian and Sam Terenzoni helped the Tanners hang on after jumping out to a 3-1 first-half lead. Kerrie O'Shea, Andrea Saccarda and Lindsey Cantin scored the goals for Peabody.
