North Andover gymnast Kristen DiTroia set a new school record on the bars by scoring a 9.85 in the Scarlet Knights’ 141.45-130.15 victory over Salem, Mass. yesterday. DiTroia not only won the bars but also won the beam (9.1) and floor (9.55).

North Andover was unaccustomed to Peabody not having a spring floor, but still managed a 134.00-129.75 win. The Knights, who improved to 6-1, still dominated the event with Kristen DiTroia coming in second and Jessica Whitehead and Anne Lafond tying for third.

Jessica Whitehead finished second in the all-around (34.2) to help North Andover beat Masconomet 135.3-134.6 in girls gymnastics.

Whithead also placed second in the floor (9.1) and tied for third in the beam (8.3).

Kristen DiTroia won the all-around and Paulina Neukuckatz placed in three events to lead North Andover, which fell to Beverly. Kelsey Cusack had her best performance of the year on the beam.

Paulina Neukuckatz won the vault (8.7), the beam (9.0) and the floor (9.3) to help North Andover gymnastics beat Marblenead 137.75-106.2. 

North Andover's Kristen DiTroia won the bars (9.2) and the all-around (35.3). 

Kristen DiTroia won the all-around and Paulina Neukuckatz had a strong meet as North Andover swept Gloucester and Hamilton-Wenham in its season opener.
