Freshman Olivia Antczak improved to 8-1 on the mound, firing a complete game and allowing three runs on six hits. Central softball won 6-3.

Brittney Hall, Kelly Michal and Karoline Leavitt drove in two runs each. 

Alicia Bilsky, in her first game since being called up by the JV, scored twice for the Central Catholic girls lacrosse team in a 9-7 comeback victory over Arlington. Maeve Holland led the offense with five goals.

Nicole Howe's second-inning double to left-center field drove in freshman Karoline Leavitt with the game's only run as Central Catholic edged Arlington. Throwing an impressive three-hitter, freshman Olivia Antczak won the tense pitcher's duel.

Matt Swett potted his first hat trick of the season, giving him 16 goals, as Andover rolled over Arlington 7-1.

Central Catholic is on a 5-game winning streak after starting the season 1-3 after last night's 3-1 win over Arlington. Mike Kelleher had two goals and Tommy Evangelista scored one. Evangelista has six goals and five assists for 11 points and Kelleher has six goals and three assists for nine points in the current Raider win streak.

North Andover lost only three matches all day in a series of romps at Marlboro, crushing Norwood (62-3), Arlington (59-3) and the host team (54-6) to improve to 12-0. 

Avenging an early-season 5-0 loss, shackling defense allowed Andover to achieve a 1-1 tie with league power Arlington. Back liners Megan Pearce, Laura Cahill, Emily Appleton and Kendra Dargoonian helped goalie Kyla Mosquera's cause tremendously and allowed Sarah Oteri's early third-period score to keep things deadlocked.

Kyle Daniels made 15 saves for his fourth shutout of the season to pace Central Catholic past Arlington 4-0. Nick Owen scored his first varsity goal for the Raiders and Tom Evangelista and Steven Balsamo each notched a goal and two assists. Central Catholic remains in play for a Super 8 spot at 12-2-1 on the season.

A different player has stepped up nearly every game for Central Catholic this season, and last night it was Mike Holland. The junior defensman notched a hat trick, tying his season total for goals, and added an assist as the Raiders stomped Arlington 6-1. John Daniels, Cam Fisichelli and Tom Evangelista each added one goal in the win, and Shawn Bradley added a pair of assists. Freshman Andrew DeDuca turned aside 19 shots in net.
