Vondrasek makes opener special

With eight seconds left in regulation and Timberlane trailing by three points, Dakotah Vondrasek took the inbounds pass and knocked down a 25-foot 3-pointer with two seconds on the clock to send the game into overtime. She then scored five of her team's seven points in the extra session to give the Owls a 56-51 win over Trinity. Vondrasek finished the night with 17 points.

Windham hangs tough with defending champ

MANCHESTER – Windham wasted no time letting Trinity know this wasn’t last week. Unfortunately for the Jaguars, while the process was much improved, the product remained the same.

Seven days after a 35-point blowout loss, Windham held a fourth-quarter lead. But the defending champion Pioneers rallied for a 20-13 victory in the Division IV semifinals at Gill Stadium. Second-seeded Trinity (9-1) will play top-seeded Plymouth in next week’s championship in a rematch of last year’s title game.
