Unbeaten Portsmouth rallied past Timberlane, 4-2. For Timberlane, Brady Marston shined with 12 saves.

Freshman Addison Lucier drove in five runs and scored four more and Vania Moniz scored four runs and drove in three as Salem beat Portsmouth 27-0 in a game that was ended after four runs.

Salem crushed Portsmouth in softball 19-2 as freshman Addison Lucier was 2 for 2 with two RBIs and four runs scored,  sophomore Vania Moniz was 2 for 3 with three RBIs and two runs scored and Bri Boucher was 3 for 3 with a pair of RBIs to lead the way.

Aidan Ayala was 2 for 3 with three RBIs and Ryan Pacy had a two-run homer but Salem's rall fell short in a 9-7 loss to Portsmouth. 

Kerrin Fitzgerald went 4 for 4 and drove in 7 runs and Ella Tower scattered two hits and fanned nine. They were the stars as Windham blanked Portsmouth, 14-0, in 5 innings.

Sarah Dempsey exploded for 35 points, a new Windham school record according to coach Anne Haky, as the Jaguars topped Winnacunnet 58-47 in the Portsmouth Holiday Tournament.

Macy Graves scored in regulation and in PKs as No. 9 Pinkerton beat No. 8 Portsmouth in the Divsion 1 girls soccer prelims. The Astros won it in six rounds of PKs as Graves, Olivia Pavao, Chayse Dube, Adria Forand and Sawyer Jackson tallied for the 5-4 advantage. Jordan Wheaton, who came in for the PKs, made the one pivotal save to win it. 

The Astros are at 16-0 Exeter Sunday (2 p.m.) in the quarterfinals.

Everything started out swimingly for Timberlane volleyball in its playoff opener against No. 7 Portsmouth. The Owls won the first set, 25-17, but lost steam and fell in the next three (25-8, 25-7, 25-8) to loss 3-1. The Owls end their season 10-9.

Sophomore Dom Picciano scored his first career goal and Windham scored all three of its goals in the second half of a 3-0 win over Portsmouth.
