Travis Yell had two dominating first-period pins while junior Josh Zaino continued his season of strong improvement with a pair of pins, winning in four of his last five matches.

Whittier Tech senior Danielle Martin continues to get healthier and yesterday scored a season-high 27 points in a 74-41 victory over Minuteman.

Whittier Tech senior Mills Carrasco drilled six 3-pointers for 18 points as the Wildcats improved to 6-1 with a 51-42 victory over Minuteman. Whittier will host a tough Lynn Tech team Thursday afternoon.

Drawing her first varsity start and playing the entire game, junior defender Gennifer Hinds was a standout for Whittier in a tough 3-2 setback against Minuteman. Jacob Bradwell and Danny Belanger notched second-half goals for the Wildcats (4-5-1).
