Whittier Tech's scheduled Friday night home game against undefeated KIPP Academy has been moved up a day. It will now be played Thursday, still at 6 p.m.

Pelham rebounded from a slow start to explode for 50 points over the second and third quarters in a 68-54 win over John Stark. Derek Crowley led with 25 points.

It was a good day for Whittier Tech Saturday at the Dan Gionet Tournament in Pelham and an even better day for Wildcat junior Jeremias Collazo.

Collazo won the 160-pound title in dramatic fashion, winning 5-4 in the semifinals and then 10-8 in overtime over Pelham's Evan Haskins and was then named the tourney Outstanding Wrestler. That highlighted a fine team performance as the Wildcats finished second to Tyngsboro in the 15-team field.

Dylan Khalil scored a career-high 28 points, leading Sanborn to a 65-55 win over John Stark. Tavante Thornton added 14 points for the winners.

Pelham's field hockey team recorded its second straight shutout, 2-0, over John Stark. Madi Robito continued her strong season with one of the two goals for the Pythons (9-3).

Pat Sullivan was the medalist with a 37 and Josh Radjavitch was just one stroke behind with a 38 to pace the Sanborn golf team to three wins while improoving its record to 15-6.

Wes Hamel fired a 37 to pace the surging Pelham golf team (14-1) to victory in a four-team meet. Runner-up Sanborn was led by Patrick Sullivan with a 38. 

Elinor Cotter got credit for the second goal of the game in Sanborn field hockey's 2-0 win over John Stark, but it was freshman Olivia Dwyer who made the goal happen with a nice assist.

Madi Connelly outscored John Stark by herself with five goals, helping Windham girls lacrosse into the New Hampshire Division 2 semifinals. Alex Perkins made 14 stops in the cage for the Jaguars.

Devin Miles led Salem boys volleyball in kills (3), blocks (2) and aces (4), contributing all over the court to help the Blue Devils beat John Stark, 3-0.
