Pelham improved to 6-0, downing Derryfield, 50-37. Jasmine Becotte led with 19 and the Galgay sisters, Jordyn and Taylor, combined for 14 points.

Izzi Giles made 20 saves and Emma Crowe added three but Sanborn field hockey fell to unbeaten top seed Derryfield. All-American Lindsey Stagg of Windham had two goals in the win.

Led by Keegan Branham's team-best 39, Sanborn golf scored 82 points to edge Derryfield (81) and roll past Laconia (42). Mack Hanisco (42) and Jack Haden (42) were next best for the Indians.

Derryfield and Windham played to a scoreless tie in OT. It was a rematch of last year's title game won by the Jaguars in overtime. Abby Harris made three saves while Windham also got defensive saves from Anna Desjardin and Kenna Melvin.

BEDFORD, N.H. — Windham sophomore Paige Butler picked the perfect time to score her first varsity goal.

Sanborn field hockey was shut out 2-0 by No. 1 seeded Derryfield in the N.H. Division 2 quarterfinals. The Indians finish the season 10-6.

Anthony Gallo scored the game's final two goals, the second coming with 30 seconds left in regulation as Windham topped previously unbeaten Derryfield 12-11. Gallo finished with five goals, Matt Shea added three goals and Chris Martel stopped 11 shots. Derryfield had won the other eight times the teams had played and by a lopsided 137-31 margin.

Sansing takes 2nd

Pinkerton junior Morgan Sansing ran an excellent 18:40.5 in the Division 1 girls meet but had to settle for second behind Exeter's Shannon Murdock, who was clocked in 18:32.6.

While Pinkerton was wrapping up its eighth state title under Mike Clark and the second straight, Timberlane junior Liam Kimball followed a family tradition by placing first individually with a terrific 15:58.4 effort on the rugged 3.1-mile course.

Haverhill's girls won their second straight game, 46-40 over Derryfield in the Epping Tournament, and two freshmen played key roles. Madison Thompson led the Hillies with 10 points and Jenna Solimine added seven. Solimine also had two 3-pointers for the Hillies, who face Sunapee today.
