St. Thomas Aquinas junior Andrew Cavanaugh of Merrimac had a game-high 27 points and eight rebounds in a 60-52 win over Belmont.

In her first varsity game, freshman Dora Csonge scored a team-high 16 points to lead PMA to a season-opening 38-14 victory over Fellowship Christian. 

Whittier volleyball outlasted Fellowship Christian in a five-set thriller, pulling out a 30-28 win in the fourth set before dominating the decisive fifth set 15-5 to win the match 3-2. Grace Efosa led the way with six kills, four blocks and six aces.

Katy Quinn had 21 service points in Presentation of Mary's game sweep (25-12, 25-22, 25-18) of Fellowship Christian, and coupled that with a whooping 15 aces. That's some deadly aim. The win also serves as some revenge, as Fellowship beat PMA earlier in the year 3-1.

Cassie Apkarian had seven kills and was listed with 19 aces as Fellowship Christian won its second straight in volleyball, beating Northeast 2-1.  

Junior Joanna Martinez had 10 aces in the final game and 13 overall as Fellowship Christian toppled Presentation of Mary 3-1. Junior Cassie Apkarian had 10 kills and senior Francesca Fortuna had an impressive six blocks.

Entering the game just four points from 1,000 for her career, Leigh-Ann Trepanier needed just two shots to reach the mark, making the first two buckets of the game and leading Fellowship Christian to a 35-15 win over Tri-City.

Leigh-Ann Trepanier had another strong game, pouring in 27 points in Fellowship's 41-31 victory over Lynn Tech in girls basketball. 

Leigh Ann Trepanier led all scorers with 28 points and Fellowship Christian had a shot two win its second win of the year but the Rams came up short to Essex Tech, 42-41.

Brian Martin won his first game as the Presentation of Mary girls basketball coach as the Panthers defeated Fellowship Christian, 50-33. Waleska Velez led the Panthers with 11 points while Leigh-Ann Trepanier had 21 for Fellowship.
