After going down 3-0 thanks to a natural hat trick from Exeter's Cori Bravi, the Govs stormed back in the second period, scoring five goals - three within 56 seconds. The Govs added two more in the third to put the game out of reach. The sophomore line of Alex Carpenter (3 goals, 2 assists), Kate Leary (2 goals and 2 assists), and Alanna McDonough (1 goal and 4 assists) were the difference makers. Molly Houston added a goal and an assist, and Abbey Karin (2 assists), and Kelly Lavallee played solid.

Phillips Academy downed Phillips Exeter 25-21, 25-17,30-28. With the win, the Big Blue finish the year a perfect 13-0 and will likely be the top-seed in the NEPSAC Tournament when the seedings are announced tonight.

Amanda Brisco tallied a hat trick and Katherine Sherrill added some insurance as Phillips Andover (12-4)cruised past Phillips Exeter 4-0. Courtney Macdonald, Emily Little, and Kyra Wyckoff all had assists, while goalkeeper Alex Farrell made six saves for the shutout.

Winning championships is nothing new for Phillips Academy cross country.

The girls square captured their fourth in a row at the 5k course at Avon Old Farms, beating out Saint Paul and Phillips Exeter with ease, grabbinbg three of the top four places and four of the top eight. Abby Levene led the charge, clocking in at 18:22, a new course record, and Stephane Moroney's third place finish (19:07) and Berol Dewdney's fourth place run (19:10), sealed the deal. North Reading's Georgina Norton finished eighth with a time of 19:46.

The Phillips Academy girls cross country team defeated arch-rival Phillips Exeter 21-39 to complete its third straight undefeated regular season. Abby Levene led the way with a 17:52 course record over Phillips' Exeter's 5K course. Georgina Norton of North Reading was seventh in 19:42.

North Andover's Eliza Marshall netted the first three goals of the game, all in the first half, as the Brooks girls soccer team downed Phillips Exeter 5-1.

EXETER | Chad Hollis took the opening kickoff 98 yards for a touchdown to put Phillips Andover on its way to a 24-14 victory over Phillips Exeter in the 127th meeting of the two schools yesterday.

"Basically, its a dream come true," said Hollis. "I saw the holes, and there was great blocking. I wanted to set the tone for the game."
