Brittany Hawkins scored two second half goals and Kara Parhiala scored one to lift No. 2 Pinkerton to a 3-0 victory over No. 7 Bishop Guertin yesterday.
"Brittany really came through and Kara did, too," Pinkerton coach Denise Rioux said. "She (Parhiala) set up a lot of plays at the right wing and outhustled them to so many balls. They had a great performance in their last home game."
"Michelle Reid as a senior midfielder had her best game of the season," Rioux added.
Rioux added that Nicole Pacheco and Erin Santuccio both played well at defense.
"Our defense was a lot stronger today than the first time we played them," Rioux said.
Pinkerton plays No. 3 Salem in the semifinals at 5 p.m. Thursday at Exeter High.
