Odds and ends: Kevin Conlin comes to PMA after serving as head soccer and softball coach at Lowell Catholic for the past nine years. He will still coach softball at Lowell Catholic. Conlin is PMA's sixth coach in the last 10 years. ... Assistant coach Jana Tarbox is the sister of new Haverhill coach Fred Tarbox and the daughter of North Andover boys coach Bill Tarbox. ... Sophomore Jessica Biggart's freshman sister Jody Biggart has impressed in the preseason. ... PMA has a charitable team. Kristina Giangrande founded the Winter Warmth Project and Stephanie Mitrano had her waist-long hair cut for the "Locks for Love" program a few years ago. Coach Kevin Conlin (1st year): We should have a very good defensive team. Margaret McDonough is a stopper and she is a tough kid. She is a sophomore that is fitting in very well. Susan Fournier is our new goalie and she has a lot of potential. She is very aggressive. On offense, Tori Hudson and Jessica Brasil are very quick and will lead the way."
