Nicole Williams hit over the left fielder's head in the bottom of the seventh — Londonderry's first hit of the game — scored Sam Nitso as the Lancers (17-3) survived upset-minded Manchester Memorial, 1-0. Theresa Zwart went the last four innings and got the win in relief of Sam Corey.
"We had some chances earlier, but couldn't do anything with them," said Londondery coach Wayne MacDougall. "I'm just glad we got out of this with a win."
