Last year, Katie Boringa's overtime score off a Liz Day feed lifted North Andover to the Division 1 North crown over Acton-Boxboro. The two teams will meet again tomorrow at 1 p.m. at North Andover's Walsh Field in another highly anticipated tussle for the title.

"Our play is pretty similar," said North Andover head coach Dianne Freiermuth, "a lot of stick-to-stick passes and working both sides of the field and working the sidelines.

"It will be interesting to see how our defense handles Giselle Schlegel (25 goals scored this year). Our defense needs to be aware of her, step up and block and tackle her because they clearly look for her."

A-B head coach Mae Shoemaker said, "The key to our success is not to play into their strength. We have to play our own game and not give up a lot of penalty corners to them. We know their corners work as well as ours."

Andover coach Maureen Noone said it could be a marathon. "They're both strong teams and strong programs," she said. "I wouldn't be surprised if it's a double- or triple-overtime game."
