ROXBURY — Andover, which went unbeaten in the regular season, continued its domination at the Merrimack Valley Conference meet at Reggie Lewis Track.
The Golden Warriors rolled up 104 points, easily outpacing second-place Tewksbury (69), third-place Central Catholic (67) and fourth-place Haverhill (66).
Pelrine's upset
Central Catholic junior Nicolette Pelrine smashed her personal best by seven seconds to post a surprising victory in the mile. Pelrine was clocked in 5:21.87, a little over a second faster than runner-up Mary Fullerton of Haverhill.
"It was close the last two laps,'' noted Pelrine. "I've been training for this. It feels awesome.''
