Saint Anselm men’s ice hockey player John Hyslip of Andover was named Northeast-10 Conference Freshman of the Week for his productive offense in Sunday's game against the Johnson and Wales University Wildcats. Hyslip notched an assist on the Hawks’ first goal of the game at 12:47 in the first period. Early in the second period, he netted a slap shot on a power play to give the Hawks a 3-2 lead. Hyslip is sixth on the team in scoring, with three goals and two assists on the season. He currently leads the Hawks in power-play goals, with three.
