Down to just nine players, Haverhill continues its fight to end the boys hoop season on a positive note.
The Hillies battled to the finish but fell to the host team in the Woburn Tournament, 72-64.
"The kids are playing hard, that's all I can ask for," said Hillie coach Mike Trovato.
Dennis Driftmeyer torched the Tanner 2-3 zone for a team-high 20 points. Freshman Noah Vonleh delivered another strong performance with 21 points and 13 rebounds for the 4-15 Hillies.
