Memorial hit 11 of 16 from the line in overtime to beat Salem 59-56. Down 30-20 at half, Salem outscored Memorial 15-2 in the third quarter. The visitors, though, regained the lead. Kerry White's 3-point play with nine seconds left forced OT.
Jen Bujnowski (12), Amanda Vaudreuil (12) and White (11) combined for 35 points.
"The
comeback was aweseome,'' said Blue Devil coach Liz Briggs. "It's pretty tough. Now we're in 0-3 in the last three games. We need to put it all
together. I just think we're better than we've been showing."
