There have only been three games, but new Whittier Tech boys basketball coach Tom Sipsey likes what he sees.
"The kids are working extremely hard and they're playing very good defense," said Sipsey.
Sophomore Giovanni Gomez led the way with 17 points, 11 assists and nine steals, narrowly missing a triple double and Ryan Grant added 13 points and nine rebounds
