Carraher serves up victory

The rapidly improving efforts of Kristen Carraher paid instant dividends for Lawrence as it swept past non-league foe Somerville, 25-13, 25-14, 25-20. Carraher served 12 aces in the victory, and first year head coach Kristine Smith said, "She was just named a captain and has come a long way in a short time. She's new to varsity and her play had been a pleasant surprise."
