MVP Dudney knocks Masconoment off 8 year run

On Thursday, North Andover's Gareth Dudney was voted the Cape Ann League MVP and, yesterday, celebrated the honor by scoring two first half goals in North Andover's 4-0 win over Masconoment Regional.

"Masco has won 8 straight league titles, so todays win was signfiicent", said coach Bill Tarbox. League all star Jay Marchard scored two second half goals and assisted Dudney's first goal. Jack Hyman, secured his 5th shutout of the year in goal. North Andover plays for the league title Wednesday vs Newburyport.
