In two games Triton and Ipswich have played an epic three overtimes, similar to the Celtics/Bulls first round basketball matchup last week, and for a second time the Vikings came out victorious, this time in double overtime, 16-15.
Sara Nardone was the hero for Triton rallying the Vikes when they were down three goals, while scoring nine times on her own, including the game-winner on a great play all-around assisted by Jen Rock, and tacking on an assist. Rock had three goals and three assist, Kaitlin Muller had one goal, Julie Parker had two goals, Emma Peditto had one goal, Jill Gallagher had one assist, and Kristen Roberts had 11 saves.
