Alanna Poretta set a Pentucket school record in the 2-mile (11:47.8), breaking the old mark by 37 seconds. April O'Brien (1,000, 3:01.5) remained perfect for the Sachems (7-2-1). Emily Funk (hurdles, 6.12) and Rebecca Morse (mile, 5:44.6) also placed first.
"We gave it everything we had," Pentucket coach Steve Derro said. "We came up with 18 personal best performances, but fell just short against an excellent Triton team."
Triton's results will run in Thursday's Daily News.
