Mike Gorman's 3-pointer at the end of regulation forced overtime and Methuen needed two extra sessions to put away Tewksbury, 60-57. Gorman finished with 16 points and Matt Richardson led the Rangers (11-7) with 18.

The Rangers were without Edwin Gonzalez, who, according to head coach Rich Barden, was out with a sprained ankle. Also out were Chris Murach and John McCarthy, both reportedly dealing with a stomach bug. Pat Crimmins came into the game in overtime and sank two free throws to secure the win.
