The Governor's Academy (2-5) lost to Kimball Union Academy on Wednesday, 3-2 in overtime. Christine Goglia and Sara Alornado scored the goals for the Govs, and Polly Merck dished out an assist.
"This was a very talented and disciplined KUA team and we played our best field hockey of the year in the first 55 minutes," said Govs coach Tracy Stickney. "I commend my entire team, it was a great effort and just another valuable lesson in this tough season of ours."
