ANDOVER — After falling to Westford in its tourney opener, Pentucket rallied for two straight wins to take 5th place in the Commonwealth Motors Christmas Classic.
Led by 17 points from Angelina Yacubacci, the No. 5 Sachems handles No. 7 Londonderry 58-41 Sunday afternoon.
Angelica Hurley added 14 points for the Sachems (5-1), who led 34-24 at halftime and 51-27 after three, and Liv Cross chipped in 9 points.
Pentucket returns to league action on Wednesday when it hosts Georgetown at 6:30 p.m.
