The Triton Vikings (1-6-5) bowed to the Lynnfield Pioneers (9-3-1) yesterday, 3-1, losing their third match in a row. Sarah Nardone made nine saves for the Vikings, and Nicole Lebel scored early in the second half to tie the game at 1-1 before the Pioneers turned it on late.
"It was a pretty evenly matched game in the first half and then even at the start of the second," said Triton coach Donna Andersen. "And though we held our own, they were just a very strong and fast team."
