Deanna Latham recorded a hat trick for Triton (5-11-1). Jessie Garibaldi added a goal for the Vikings on an assist from Rachelle Bourque. Brittany Caprio also had an assist. Amesbury (7-9) must win its last two games to qualify for the state tournament.
"Amesbury had the state tournament to play for," Triton coach Dan Boyle said. "Just they did to us last year, we've sent them to the brink of elimination."
