GROTON — Joe Napolitano scored on a 10-yard run in the first quarter and a Mike Sheehan extra-point kick gave Brooks a brief 7-6 lead over powerful Lawrence Academy yesterday.
But it was downhill from there as Lawrence Academy (5-0) surged to a 32-7 victory. AHead 18-7 at halftime, Lawrence Academy scored a touchdown each in both the third and fourth quarters.
Charles Loeb threw three touchdowns for Lawrence Academy to lead the way.
For Brooks, Napolitano rushed for 54 yards on eight carries and Jordan Johnson rushed for 44 yards. Linebackers Steve Domoracki and Napolitano had strong defensive games for Brooks.
