Strengths: The Hornets are a strong and fundamental team defensively. They also hope to benefit from senior leadership from Scott Forsythe, Greg Polley and Ian Graham.
Concerns: Coming off a one-win season, Manchester Essex need to learn how to win consistently. The goal will be to play aggressive baseball.
Coach's outlook: "I honestly believe this is a lot better team than 1-19. We want to make the tourney, .500 would be highly successful."
