Ashley Conway singled home Mikayla Ramsdell in the fourth for Salem's lone run, and that was enough for Rachel Towler as the Blue Devils dealt first-place Alvirne just its third loss of the season, 1-0.

Towler allowed just two hits and struck out nine in a complete-game effort.
