Odds and ends: The 14 wins last season were the most in 10 years in program. ... Kayla Green's 60 goals were up from 43 as a sophomore. ... Eagle-Tribune All-Star goalie Jess Slater, a four-year starter and the daughter of coach Bob Slater, is now playing at Merrimack College. ... Three freshmen are expected to start this season.

Coach Bob Slater (3rd year, 25-12): "Kayla (Green) is a real leader. She knows when to pass and when to take her shot. We're looking for Jenn (Borjeson) to take that next step and Dana Boyle and Marcie Marino should have breakout seasons. Kelcie Malloy and Devin Ingersoll should lead the way on defense."
