Kaitlyn Arsenault threw her second straight shutout as Salem defeated Spaulding 3-0 to advance to the Division 1 semifinals Wednesday against Concord. Arsenault threw a two-hitter, striking out five, and didn't walk a batter. Amanda Bickford was 2 for 3 and scored a run for the Blue Devils (16-4).
"It was a tremendous game by Kaitlyn and we played a good, solid game," said Salem coach Harold Sachs.
