The Georgetown boys cross country team won its first meet since 2008, whipping Amesbury 22-35. Tom Mulligan was first in 17:10 for 2.9 miles, Casey Reale was third and the Royals went 5-6-7 to win in convincing fashion.
"The kids were ecstatic," said Georgetown coach Brian Masys. "They knew how long it had been since we had won."
