Second-half goals by Devin Moore and Tim Wood lifted Pinkerton to a 3-1 victory in the rain over Merrimack and encouraged coach Kerry Boles.
"This is the kind of performance we've been waiting for over the past couple of weeks," said Boles. "We have shown good effort but when you finish your opportunities, it increases your odds of winning tremendously. Hhopefully this game will help us go in the right direction heading into the tournament."
