Odds and ends: Londonderry continues its quest to get past the Class L quarterfinals, where the last three seasons have ended. ... It was the squad's best year since the 19-4 season in 1998-99. ... UConn football coaches came in to see Ryan Griffin at a recent practice. He's a transfer from New Hampton. ... Bobby Wunsch played all last year with mononucleosis. ... Mike Barbera returns to the program after taking last year off.

Coach Jim Zorbas (6th year, 55-47): "This is the most talent I've had here. All the seniors have played together since third grade, including Griffin. We're happy to have him, and he wants to be here. I have to beg Griffin to shoot. He's very unselfish. We're really balanced. I have seven kids who can score. Matt Travalini will get his points, because he's such a good player. He doesn't have to carry the load, though. Feinstein and Lumpkins look ready for big years."
