Haverhill's unbeaten girls cross country team had only 18 seconds separating their top five runners in a 25-32 victory at Lowell. Riley Gilmore led the way in third place in 17:49 over 2.8 miles for the Hillies, who took places 3-7, with Jillian Meserve the fifth girl at 18:07.
"That's probably the best spread I've ever had," said Haverhill coach Mike Maguire. "The girls are running very well right now."
